I strongly believe that trail running has a ton of benefits not just physically but also mentally. This is part of the reason why I set up ESCAPE trails to help people get out on the trails and start feeling, not just the benefits of running, but also of being outside in nature, and just as importantly to just have fun in a safe and friendly atmosphere. My runs are planned to give you the support you need whether you’re new to the trails or you’re an experienced runner, all whilst running at a sociable pace. ESCAPE trails is not about racing or PBs it’s about having fun on the trails, and I make sure no one gets left behind irrespective of their ability.
I run different group runs mostly around East Anglia, ranging from my Intro To Trail Running sessions that are aimed at the complete trail running beginner, where I will go through the skills and equipment needed to take up trail running, through to my Guided Trail Run sessions which are aimed at the more experienced trail runner, where the focus is getting out and exploring new trails.
The natural world is an important part of trail running, and all events organised by ESCAPE trails have a focus on the nature around us, the impact we have on it as trail runners, what we can do to help limit that impact, and what steps we can take to help keep it special.
